Yoga is not just a simple activity. People do not prefer to perform yoga postures just for relaxation and energy. In fact, yoga has a wide array of its meaning. Raja Yoga: This is a posture for meditation. This needs to seat up straight without moving any part of your body unnecessarily.

Hatha yoga: This is also a posture for meditation and this can be considered as a yoga for beginners. Hatha Yoga is a combination of physical poses and breathing exercises. “Ha” means “sun” and “tha” means “moon”. This is said that both the lunar and solar power exist in human body and nature. Lunar is feminine leading to be emotional and intuitive and solar is masculine that commemorates analytical and extrovert nature of a person.

This is very important to have a healthy body and calm breathing that leads to manage the difficult task of meditation for a human being. There are so many things in this life that mind can be diverted very easily. Even this complicated lifestyle demands to be engaged in various activities. Yoga postures give a transcendental effect to human body. Specifically when poses are performed for long time and breathing and concentration are coordinated with them. Such postures truly affect the energy centers and energy channels also.

Difference Between Functional Gymnastics And Yoga Postures:

Functional gymnastics are generally limited to the muscles and joints. However, yoga postures work much more on the organs. They give positive effect on the metabolism of the whole body. Poses help to stimulate and harmonize physical processes. Postures for relaxation and meditation prepare human body in the best manner by regenerating energy. Not only have that but yoga postures help to calm the mind while harmonizing energy. It creates a holistic effect on the practitioner.
It is very important to be flexible, adaptable and dynamic to cope up with the flow of modern day life. While human being is becoming more and more sophisticated specialized, they start to neglect their bodies. The demand can be fulfilled through yoga postures.
