The yoga exercises or asanas help in reducing anxiety and calming down an individual's tensed mind. They act as natural tranquilizers and soothe our minds. Apart from relaxing mind, yoga exercises facilitate our body to get rid of lethargy, tiredness, and exhaustion.

There are various types of yoga poses which gives out effective result for different type of activities. Most of us go through a hectic daily life schedule in today’s world. After the day's hectic schedule, our body and mind gets drained off and we need to recharge them with energy and vitality. Yoga exercises play a vital role in keeping the balance between our body and mind and make us feel relaxed and give peace of mind as well.

• The breathing yoga exercises, also known as the pranayams, which help in providing oxygen to all the tissues and organs of our body and detoxify them. Proper breathing relaxes us and induces sound sleep. Padmasana and savasana also help in calming down our exhausted bodies.

• Hatha yoga is a fairly slow paced, gentle and mellow form of Yoga which focuses on simples poses that comfortably flow from one to the other. It’s a good type of yoga for beginners to start with or for winding down at the end of a hard day.

There are plenty of other forma of yoga exercises as well which we can practice in order to maintain the balance of our body and mind. Besides maintaining balance, this form of exercise also causes spiritual upliftment and provides peace of mind to make us feel relaxed.
